So to me twitter is a slow paced chat medium and it’s too much fun! but for sure it makes you less active blogger as you will vent the ideas within the 140 characters limit and feel satisfied but it can also be a source of inspiration.
It’s funny that people take twitter seriously! well, maybe we all should. I’m really shocked with its effect and how it connects people more than Nokia! or facebook! Here is what happened in the last two months of tweeting
An Arab American lady tweeted me asking if I can help her finding her father in Jordan and of course I tried and I noticed the flood of tweets to her from Jordanian twitterjiyeh trying to help her out! the last breaking news from her was, I got his address!
Another good happening on twitter? what’s better than receiving a tweeteh saying you got %?? (Almost free!) on iPhone! you guessed, I have it now and for sure you will be very active twitterjii when you have that cool gadget
Again, Twitter is fun, not sure if I could list everything but I virtually meet with one of best travel writers who actually tweeted back when I tweet asked about the cheapest day use around the Dead Sea! Not enough? Meet with a U.N intern doing a research on Peace & Islamic Studies in Jordan. More? Helping a German doctor planning her trip to Jordan, in touch with Cycling for Peace and planning to accompany them to the borders.
and Today we have the first Amman Twitter Meet up! Wooooooohooooooooo! 7Pm News N’ Coffee, 1st Circle.
I received some very positive feedback on the idea and I really hope it will spread around but we need to maintain certain level of positiveness. What we’re trying to do should be understood as online activism and/or a customer satisfaction survey (Yes, we’re doing them a favour) but not a chance to lash a company, individual or business.
On the 24th of each month, Any blogger who want to participate in Possessed Business in Jordan and had a bad experience during the past month or wish to have a better experience with certain company or business should draft it and publish it on 24th of each month.
To maintain certain level of positiveness, I will try to suggest some regulations to the monthly meme of Possessed Business in Jordan and please don’t hesitate helping out to shape the idea else someone will campaign against as possessed idea:
It should be understood as online activism to make our voices heard in a very positive manner.
Participate if you want to share an experience in positive manner rather than it’s cool idea and I want to participate or it’s the time to lash that company.
Think of it as a customer satisfaction survey.
Our Uniform:
We cannot ask people to use logos or change their blog theme but we can suggest something to unify the structure of our posts.
Title [ Possessed Business - Company Name]
Tag and/or Category [ Possessed Business ]
Now, your article is yours but we would like to see clear explanation of Why you are not happy with that Company, or Business? What can be done to make the service, product or experience better?
FAQs:
What do you mean by Possessed Business?
Some businesses are possessed with the Master of stupidity, a monster that possess some private companies and so far we couldn’t find an exorcist to stop that monster but yet we can keep trying.
Why its on a monthly basis instead of spontaneous blogging as it happens?
The more organised we are the louder our voices and hopefully the better effect.
Can I write about a company I respect but I would like to suggest something to them?
Of course!
What do you mean by positive? How can I be positive, I’m so angry!
I have been trying to captive what some people would call it negativity but I can’t captive it any more especially when you put efforts to make everything work just as they should is exactly the same time when the master stupidity shows up to wreak something.
Master of stupidity is the monster that possess some private companies and so far we couldn’t find an exorcist to stop that monster but yet we can keep trying.
What I’m about to suggest to today is a way to fight the Master of Stupidity on a monthly basis and make a very loud noise about it on the local blogospher but of course in a very polite manner as the point is not lashing people but a try to make a change.
What I’m wishing for is having a monthly mass bloging about stupid experiences we faced during the past month, it could be a silly issue with your Internet provider, favourite restaurant, coffee place, mall or any entity that you pay to get a product or service and then they fail to deliver their promise and/or your expectations.
How about taking the 24th of each month as a Possessed Business day? and using the title of [ Possessed Business - Company name ] in your post title and if you use [Possessed-Business] as a tag or category. Maybe in couple of months we can get more organised and start email the management staff and shareholders or anyone who can make a change.
If you are interested in participating leave a comment and if you prefer doing it anonymously you can send me an email to blog [ at ] jadmadi [ dot ] net

The Kingdom has lost one of its unique men, one of its strongest passionate and a very charismatic person, that is Tahseen Shurdom. I can’t help it but remember how he helped us in getting military transportation to open a line for military school students (Al-Shaheed Faisal II) who lives in Jabal Amman, I can’t help it but remembering the military transportation officer looking for us by names after the strict order from Tahseen Basha to make it happen in a single day.

Numbers stations (or number stations) are shortwave radio stations of uncertain origin. They generally broadcast artificially generated voices reading streams of numbers, words, letters (sometimes using a spelling alphabet), tunes or Morse code. They are in a wide variety of languages and the voices are usually women’s, though sometimes men’s or children’s voices are used. more on en.wikipedia.org…
