Environmental awareness in Jordan
I took these pictures month or two ago from the office window but didn’t had the chance to upload or talk about the story behind them until now, This guy ‘the park cleaner’ is used to burn all trash everyday, first time I saw him I said he’s just working for the owner and maybe there is no garbage can around him so this is the only way for him but after little investigation I found the garbage can about 200M from the park. Actually I’m not sure how we can educate people not to do this thing not just for the sake of environment but for their own health, anyway I’ll leave you with the disgusting photos

Thats really sad , i hope within a generation or 2 these species will extinct and be history !

lol actually it has nothing to do with this one guy. even the sanitation workers dressed in orange will sweep the streets early in the morning and then collect little piles and burn it.
im not sure if the GAM actually trains them to do that but like bilotee said, its a much greater problem than we care to admit.
