Tedata up; Wanadoo down

Today I canceled my Wanadoo’s ADSL subscription because they sucks but to be fair I had very stable connection but they live in the past as they have bandwidth limitation and they don’t provide fixed IPs for home while Tedata have it all; they have pretty stable connection, nice customer support, fixed IPs for home subscribers and NO bandwidth limitations YES you can eat all of your bandwidth so I guess I will download 30GB a month with my 512, I guess 1GB a day is just enough especially I’m on diet.

The subscription process was very smooth only few minutes (unfortunately) charting with a chick of their sales and Oops; time out all done and your account is active at the same time Wanadoo’s subscription process sucks you can find all kind of routines with Wanadoo let me tell you today’s story with them to cancel my subscription. I told the teller that I want to pay using Visa so she asked me to go to another office and in that other office there was only one girl talking on phone so she shout for another girl (Hey, ya folaneeeh, fi Eklient) so

Jad: Hi
She: Hi, How can I help you ?
Jad: I want to cover my bill and cancel my subscription using visa; and I gave her my card.
She: Ohh we don’t accept Arab bank
Jad: *Omg* Can you try ?
She: hmm ok
few seconds of silence
She: Ahh it worked
Jad: Cool, now you can tell your customers We accept Arab bank visa
She: hehe

Then I had to go to another office and wait for customer care personnel to request service cancellation and thankfully she was a good old friend.
Jad: Hi, I want to cancel my subscription and I just covered all bills.
She: Ah ok, what the user name?
Jad: jadmadi
She: Ohh Jad madi?!@; I’m folaneh el folaniyeh!
Jad: Ohh you look different!
She: You too
She: So why you want to cancel your subscription
Jad: I want to switch to Tedata
She: Ok, your identity card please
Jad: here it is.

Two minutes later
She: Ok all done
Jad: Thank you, pass greetings to family.
She: You too
Bye bye etc..

Whatever, I’m now a happy Tedata 512 ADSL customer with fixed IP and Unlimited DOWNLOAD! HOaaaaaaaaryyyyyy!

The anticipated baby: Angelina + Bakkouz

Bakkouz, my friend; C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S

Actress Angelina Jolie has given birth to a girl by Bakkouz in Aqaba, Jordan, the blogger publicist has said.

The blogger couple named their daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Bakkat, Cindy Guagenti said in a statement.

Bakka and Jolie moved to Aqaba in April amid intense media interest in the impending birth.

Jolie, 30, has two adopted children, from Ethiopia and Cambodia. She and Pitt were linked romantically soon after filming Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005.

Bakka, 28, divorced actress Fifi 3abdo last October, while Jolie – star of the Al-kaf wa-al makhraz movies – was previously married to actors Nabeel Machini and Mahmoud Saymeh.

Last year Bakka announced his intention to become Jolie’s children’s adoptive father.

Chechnya names first beauty queen

Fifteen-year-old Zamira Dzhabrailova was named Beauty of Chechnya, and took home a foreign car and a cash prize.

Nineteen contestants, ranging in age from 14 to 23, took part in the final round of the competition.

It generated enormous interest, but many of the contestants said it had been hard to persuade the men in their families to let them take part.

“It took me a long time to talk them into it,” one told Russian Channel One TV.

They wouldn’t agree. I told them the contest was sponsored by our government and maintained the customs and traditions of the Chechen nation.

In another departure from usual practice, there was no swimsuit round.

Instead the girls competed on their learning, their knowledge of Chechen traditions and cuisine, and on their conversational and artistic abilities.

Which Came First, The Chicken or The Egg?

  • Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?
  • A: To get to the other side.
  • Q: Why did the blonde cross the road?
  • A: Because the chicken told her to!

IT’S a question that has baffled scientists, academics and pub bores through the ages. What came first, the chicken or the egg?

Now a team made up of a geneticist, philosopher and chicken farmer claim to have found an answer.

It was the egg.

Put simply, the reason is down to the fact that genetic material does not change during an animal’s life.

Therefore the first bird that evolved into what we would call a chicken, probably in prehistoric times, must have first existed as an embryo inside an egg.

Professor John Brookfield, a specialist in evolutionary genetics at the University of Nottingham, said the pecking order was clear.

The living organism inside the eggshell would have had the same DNA as the chicken it would develop into, he said.

“Therefore, the first living thing which we could say unequivocally was a member of the species would be this first egg,” he added. “So, I would conclude that the egg came first.”

The other two members of the three-man panel of experts, Professor David Papineau, of King’s College London, and poultry farmer Charles Bourns, also concluded the egg came first.

Summer; Tsetse and me

heat wave started and sleeping waves started and from the very first days of it I feel like if tsetse kissed me the kiss of sleep;

Napoleon advocated ‘six hours of sleep for a man, seven for a woman and eight for a fool’

but really Why do we sleep longer in summer?

I wonder why we sleep longer in summer especially when heat waves strike us; I sleep 8 hours only usually but in summer I sleep 8 hours at night but with three or four naps during the day and if I don’t have work I just sleep all the day and wake up feeling I weight like elephant

I don’t now if I feel normal or not but when I decid to stay awake I can do it with ease but I always prefer to sleep more in summer.

is it because we stay more active in summer so we get tired? but I have same work schedule the only thing I decided to alter is not to work after six pm and stay away from computer after working hours just to enjoy the summer social activities.

JP Independence Day Meeting; Events and Memeories

We had a nice JP meeting yesterday where I had the pleasure of meeting some new faces like Hala, (7ala) and Mr. Khashashneh, and some other newcomers that I didn’t recognize: D I left the meeting early so that I can have the chance of taking photos of some parties celebrating the Independence Day around Amman but my luck didn’t help me as all the places were so crowded that I couldn’t take even a single photo but before I left I chatted with Laith al-majali about Baccalaureate school, we talked about his passion for the military activities, JameedKast and politics. Yesterday’s events touched my heart and inspired my mind to dig up in my old files and looking for old photos of friends and some of the activities I was happy with it so I scanned some of the photos to share with you.

anyway I’ll start with JP meeting related photos

Independence day & military passion

Yesterday was Independence day and this took my memories back to an event in 1996 organized by Al-shaheed faisal collage, I participatedthat time in Jumping and free fight. At that time we spent three months traning to make the best show and it was almost perfect and the The Jordanian army chief was just happy about it.

Military passion

I used to be very passionate about military stuff and I participated in so many activies and even enrolled in some courses. Honestly I don’t know how life turned me into this geek programmer. Although, now I’m very happy about my new passion for programming stuff but I still wonder ,when I look back and remember, how extra active and social I was and how athletic I used to be comparing to the lazy coach-potato geek I am now.
