Blogging Anniversary – 2002- 2008
Started back in 2002 when the idea of blogging wasn’t mature even to me and at that time I had my own Web Development company when Basem Narmouq suggested to establish Arabic blogging service but again the idea wasn’t mature to proceed in it.
Since the start I jumped from blogging service to another, I’m sure I didn’t left any without trying it until I landed on EasyHTTP.com… which is a dead link now and later I decided to stop blogging, week later I decided to make a use of this domain, jadmadi.net… which I had to buy for $150 dollar from a generic search engine that bought it right after it was dropped in 2001, in May 2002 I reconquered the domain and later in December I launch this blog using blogger.com… but hosting my own files on jadmadi.net….
I never thought I’d make it to 2008 or even valued blogging in general until 2004 when I restarted my-blogger-self with a WordPress installation under jadmadi.net… again; at that time we were witnessing the arise of the best bloggers community, JordanPlanet.
Blogging started to taste differently since that time, we witnessed JordanPlanet, GlobalVoices , dwen.com…, itoot.net… and now the most dominant planet, Qwaider.com….
Now, I’m blogger of four blogs and part of wider blogging community, PHP planet, Ubuntu Planet, itoot, qWaider and many others.
As for this particular blog, I realized that shutting down a blog is a bad idea.

Hani Obaid,
I never thought of getting any .COM for personal use, I always prefer .net for personal use as by having a personal website you are making your personal network rather than a personal commerce but that’s debatable for sure.
Kinzi,
maybe I should use it instead of the meaningless Jad’s thoughts.
hahah, Hajji blogger, loved it
Qwaider,
Thank you 7aj
