#Cloudflare

Cloudflare is one of the most consequential companies on the internet and one of the least discussed outside operations circles. These posts treat it as the infrastructure layer it is. I write about Workers and the shift of compute to the edge, the way a single company now sits in front of a staggering share of web traffic, and the implications of that concentration for resilience, censorship, and control. The pieces here also get practical: routing, caching, DDoS mitigation, and the developer experience of building on a platform that is simultaneously a CDN, a registrar, a DNS provider, and a compute runtime. Cloudflare is fascinating because it is useful and concerning for the same reason. It is everywhere.
