By accessing, browsing, or using Crosscurrent Code (published at https://jadmadi.net), reading its articles, using its API or markdown endpoints, or using interactive tools such as the 91 Places Launch Tracker, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.

2. Intellectual Property and Content Use

All essays, written articles, artwork, linocut illustrations, logos, and editorial compilations published on this site are the intellectual property of Jad Madi and Crosscurrent Code unless otherwise noted.

• Attribution and Fair Use: You are encouraged to link to, quote, and reference articles, provided that clear attribution is given to Jad Madi and a link to the canonical URL on jadmadi.net is included.
• Markdown-for-Agents: Content served via explicit .md endpoints or requested via Accept: text/markdown header negotiation is provided for human and automated consumption (including search indexers and AI agents). Downstream summaries or citations must preserve author attribution and canonical links.
• Open Source Components: Software code snippets explicitly shared under an open-source license (such as MIT or Apache 2.0) are governed by their respective license terms.

3. Interactive Tools and Directory Information (91 Places)

The 91 Places Launch Tracker and other directory tools provide curated lists, metrics (such as third-party Domain Rating estimates), categories, and links to third-party websites and maker communities.

• No Endorsement or Guarantee: Directory listings are compiled for informational, distribution, and organization purposes. Listing on this site does not constitute an endorsement, partnership, or guarantee of acceptance, listing, or traffic from any third-party platform.
• Third-Party Services: External links lead to websites operated by independent third parties. We are not responsible for the availability, content, practices, or pricing of any third-party directory, platform, or service.
• Accuracy of Data: While we strive to maintain accurate links, handles, and metrics, domain ratings and submission guidelines change over time. Content is provided without guarantees of real-time accuracy.

4. User Accounts, 𝕏 Authentication, and Acceptable Use

• Optional Sign-In: You may use interactive tools completely anonymously. If you choose to authenticate via “Sign in with 𝕏”, authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0 PKCE.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your 𝕏 account credentials.
• Acceptable Use: You agree not to:
  • engage in automated scraping or request flooding that impairs site performance or availability;
  • probe, scan, or exploit vulnerabilities in the site’s API endpoints or underlying Cloudflare Workers and D1 database;
  • submit fraudulent, abusive, or spam submissions through the contact form or interactive endpoints; or
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Crosscurrent Code and all associated tools, content, and endpoints are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jad Madi, Crosscurrent Code, and its infrastructure providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:

• your use of or inability to use the site;
• loss of synchronized tracker progress or data;
• any interaction with or transaction conducted on third-party sites linked from our directories; or
• any interruption, defect, delay in operation, or technical failure.

6. Modifications to the Site and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the site, including directory tools and API endpoints, at any time without prior notice. We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the site following posted revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
